Mission & Value Statement

The PRPOA was created on the basis of giving back to those it serves, by partnering with the community to support local charities, and giving its members the tools needed to better protect the welfare of the citizens and the association.

It is the belief of the PRPOA that when members have the resources and support they need, they will be able to fully and vigorously perform their duties to the highest degree, and with the utmost professionalism.

Our History

The Paso Robles Police Officers Association (PRPOA) became incorporated on July 12, 1956. The original purpose was to form an association of police officers to teach and sponsor Hunter Safety Programs and to have an organization to furnish relief to members and their families if needed. The formation of the PRPOA allowed our members to exercise the powers of a non-profit organization under the laws of the State of California.

The founding members of the PRPOA were C.E. Jacque, George Jacobs and L. L. Wilson who were all residents of Paso Robles as well.
